Some notes on Halloween...
Bay Tech students are encouraged to wear costumes. In order to ensure that our campus feels safe to our entire community, including those who choose not to celebrate Halloween, we have some simple guidelines to follow. Community members not meeting these guidelines will be asked to change. In short: no masks or face coverings that make anyone unrecognizable, nothing violent (no weapons real or imagined) or gory in nature that would trigger trauma for other community members, nothing that would be considered culturally inappropriate by other groups, and nothing that promotes hate towards any group. Please keep in mind that BayTech serves 11 year olds as well as 18 year olds, so what is appropriate for a senior is not the same as what is okay for 6th graders - We trust you all to have fun and present a version of yourself that is appropriate for a school setting.
