BayTech held the 4th Bay Area Science Fair. The science fair took place on Saturday, January 26, 2008. Students from Baytech and other middle schools in Oakland and Berkeley present over seventy projects in Historic Sweet Ball Room.

The prices were given as a laptop for the first place, a digital camera for the second place and an IPOD for the third place. Teachers of the winners were also rewarded by $250, $150 and $100 gift cards.

BayTech Science and Technology Fair has been taken place for four years now to get involed the district kids in developing science and tecnology.
