Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this Parent Club event a success. Many devoted parents and BayTech community members got into the “fundraising spirit,” volunteered their time and donated items.
Thank you to the many parents and students who came out and shopped with us on Saturday, and of course a very special thank you to all who responded to the call for donated items. With out your involvement our Sale would not have been as successful.
A special thank you goes out to Jim McCarthy who came through on the logistics end of Saturday's Garage Sale and Susan Hoffmann who volunteered to help sort, label and separate donated items during the weeks prior to the Garage Sale.
Many thanks to Mrs. Wyatt who helped create order out of chaos in the “BayTech Basement.” Thank you Ebony Zareef, for working the register Saturday. We're also grateful for the donated donuts and the “rack of truth” you provided from which 80% of our clothing hung. Thank you to the rest of the Zareef family for donating brand new purses, men shirts and women's clothing from the family's store, Mizann. Thank you to Patricia Wise for donating the use of your clothing rack.
Mrs. Thelma welcome to BayTech. I hope that you've had a wonderful first week of interaction with the parent club. Thank you for help labeling merchandise, Saturday morning..
Deidre Bassel, thank you for supplying the baked goodies and drinks.
Rabit Rexhepi, Portia Glassman, Selah, and Lenore thank you for volunteering your time Saturday. The signs were great and your bargaining skills were well above par. Excellent work bringing in the customers.
Last, but definitely not least, the parent club would like to thank the teachers and administration at Baytech for their support - especially the “heavy lifting” support (smile).
There were others who helped who may not be listed, and we sincerely thank you for your efforts! The Parent Club looks forward to your continued support.
