Objectives

By this assignment, you are going to learn how to add pictures into a table and specify them.

Tasks

1. Preparation

a) Generate a new folder in Z:\FrontPage and name as A34. (How to)

b) Open FrontPage. (How to)

2. Add and Modify the Table

a) Add a table with 4 Rows and 2 Columns

· Go to TableàInsertàTable

b) Change the Tables’ Properties

· Right-Click on the table and click on Table Properties

· Type the numbers of Rows and Columns (10x3)

· Align the table to the center

· Set the table with to 900 pixels

· Set Table Border to 0 (zero)

· Set Cell Padding and Cell Spacing to 0 (zero)

3. Search for Pictures

a) Find one picture for each of 6 big and famous cities in the United States. Save the pictures in the folder A34. Try to find the most famous place of the cities. (See the sample below)

· Encarta Kids

· Google Image

b) Make a web site about the cities that you have picture of them.

4. Finalization

a) Click on Preview to see how it works (Click on Design to work on the web page)

b) Save your web site (How to)

1. Save the web site in Z:\FrontPage\A34 as your saving location

2. Type cities.htm as file name.

c) Go to your assignment folder (A34) and double-click on your web page to see it on Internet Explorer. (How to)

• Format your text with different font, size, and color.
• Use your mouse to resize the table
