Objectives

By this assignment, you are going to learn how to add a table to your web site.

Remember your using tables in Word

Tasks

1.     Generate a new folder in Z:\FrontPage and name as A31. (How to)

2.     Open FrontPage. (How to)

3.     Add a table with 3 columns and 13 rows

·        Go to TableàInsertàTable

·        Type the numbers of rows and columns

4.     Use the second cell in the first row to type “My Shopping List for this week

5.     Use the second row for titles “Needs”, “Place to buy”, “Estimated Price”

6.     Type in below rows what you need, where you can buy, and how much it will cost you.

7.     Type your total estimated expense for this week in the bottom cell of “Estimated Price” column.

8.     Add a background color (How to)

9.     Click on Preview to see how it works (Click on Design to work on the web page)

10. Save  your web site (How to)

a)     Go to File à Save as

b)    Go to My Computer Z:\FrontPage\A31 as your saving location

c)     Type a file name of your own.

d)    Click on Save

11.   Go to your assignment folder (A31) and double-click on your web page to see it on Internet Explorer. (How to)

For Advance

·        Format your text with different font, size, and color.

·        Use your mouse to resize the table
