Adding Pictures (A24)

By this assignment, you are going to learn how format a picture to your web site.

Tasks

1. Generate a new folder in Z:\FrontPage and name as A24. (How to)

2. Open FrontPage. (How to)

3. Type “ClipArts” as a headline and format it.

4. Right click on toolbars to activate “Pictures” toolbar

Locate Picture Toolbar in your screen for future use.

5. Add Clip Arts (Search for dogs, cats, and fox)

a) Go to Insertà Picture à Clip Art

b) In “Search For” Textbox, type “dogs”, select only “Photographs” and press “Go”

c) Add a picture of dogs to your web page by clicking on it once.

d) Resize your picture in order to fit in your page

e) Change “Brightness and Contrast of the picture”

6. Add a background color (How to)

7. Click on Preview to see how it works (Click on Design to work on the web page)

8. Save your web site (How to)

a) Go to File à Save as

b) Go to My Computer Z:\FrontPage\A24 as your saving location

c) Type a file name

d) Click on Save

9. Go to your assignment folder (A24) and double-click on your web page to see it on Internet Explorer. (How to)
